Sunflower card

Hi y'all....I just have a cute card to show you today.  I feel like I need to get back into making and more importantly sending out cards. I have a super sweet friend at work and wanted to make her a thank you card.  As soon as I found this digi in my stash I knew it would be perfect for her!  She loves sunflowers!  I colored it with my Copics, embossed it and raised it up and made it boing with one of my boingy things.:)  I think it turned out really cute and she loved it! :)

Oh... I sometimes like to decorate the inside a bit...this is how this one looked. :)

Sunflower Card

I needed to give a friend a thank you and she loves sunflowers.  I found this digi and knew I had to use it!  It was pretty easy to make - colored with my digis, embossed the front of the card and added a little yellow at the bottom and some yellow ribbon.  I sponged some yellow on the inside too.  :)
Thanks for looking and have a good day!

Simple things

Hi all,
I thought it was time to post a simple card...gosh sometimes I just love to make them.  They kinda help get the mojo flowing and are fun and lift my spirits.  Hopefully they do that for the recipients too!  :)
I don't remember where I got this digi from, but I love it because it reminds me of Santa Mouse and I've had a thing for Santa Mouse since I was a kid.  My mom took my brother and me to KMart and I remember picking out the Santa Mouse book when I was 4 years old.  I still have that book and bring it out every Christmas season.  So sweet!!!

YAY! Graduation Time!

Tis the season for Graduation!  What a great, exciting time and this year I have been blessed with more graduation open house invites than ever!!  I will post some gifts that I made, but this one, is a cash holder.  Nothing is better sometimes than cold, hard, cash! :)  It could also hold gift cards too, but I preferred to give cash to spend where ever she'd like.
Enjoy!!!

Un-froggetable

Okay, I obviously should have posted this in February, but anywho I think this froggy is just the cutest.  I found that heart paper in the Target Dollar spot!  This was simple to make and turned out really cute, I think!

Purrrty kitties

:)  Hi!
I love this digi....I think it turned out really cute!  I made it for my daughter for Valentine's Day but forgot to post it.  I used a new technique and made the orange kitty movey.  I used a penny between the layers...fun!  I think I like the boingy things that you can purchase a little more, but this is different and it added some demention and function to the card.  I like it.

Enjoy today!

Simply Sweet in brown and blue

I enjoy this stamp. Very. Much.  I like the simplicity and even the fact that she doesn't have a real face.  I don't know...I just think it's an adorable stamp.  I tried to keep it simple.  Maybe that is what I should try to do all year.  ???  We'll see how that works out.

I am almost positive that this is my first one this year...well at least this week! :)  LOL!  I'm also positive that it won't be the last one this year!

Wake up, darling...

Wouldn't this be a sweet card to wake up to?  I have to leave for business soon...I'm thinking of leaving it on someone special's pillow. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.  And a little help with that never can hurt!
And, I'm sure you know it's Bugaboo cause I use them so much!
Have a great day!

Basketball Bookmark

I love this kind of card!  I know I posted about these before but you take a 4.5x12 piece of cardstock and score at 4.5" and 9" and you end up with a 4.5" square card and a 3" bookmark!  I leave the bookmark on the card and use a perferating tool so that the recipient (in this case my DS) can just tear it off and put it to use!
Being basketball season in Indiana, I really love this card!
Go Hoosiers!!

Have a great day!

Yay for school

I don't know who's more excited...me or them.  Okay, yes I do.  It's me!  :)  I made these for my daughter and her bestie.  I know it's only returning after winter break, but still.  It's going to be nice to get back into the routine.  If I could be a SAHM I may feel differently but I hate going to work when my kids are home.  Don't like it one bit.

You 'CAN' do it!

Hi all!!!  This project was so much fun to make and to GIVE!!!  I re-purposed a can!  I used a can of green beans.  All you do is instead of pulling the top off (leave that for the recipient) you use a can opener (the kind that makes a smooth cut) and cut the top off.  Then wash the can and fill with goodies.  In this case we have crackle nail polish and zebra nail stickers!  :)  Fun!!  Then you decorate and superglue the lid back on.  No one can even tell that the can was opened!  It is so much fun!  I did this one for my BFF's daughter who recently turned 14.  Happy Birthday, sweet girl!
Enjoy!

Lots of pictures... :)
