Do yourself a favor and try this soooooon!  :)

This is straight form Paula Deen!  :)

Not 'yo Mama's Banana Pudding:

  • 1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

Directions

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Purrrty kitties

:)  Hi!
I love this digi....I think it turned out really cute!  I made it for my daughter for Valentine's Day but forgot to post it.  I used a new technique and made the orange kitty movey.  I used a penny between the layers...fun!  I think I like the boingy things that you can purchase a little more, but this is different and it added some demention and function to the card.  I like it.

Enjoy today!

Foodie Friday - Creamy Spaghetti and Garlic Biscuits

Wow!  To say that this was my favorite meal this week would be an understatement!!!  We all LOVED it!!!!  I adapted both of these recipes from Plain Chicken (http://www.plainchicken.com/)  Please make them both - they are amazing and I had them ready from start to finish in an hour.

Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole

1 box pasta (I had angel hair and the corkscrew kind in the pantry so combined them)
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 15 oz can stewed tomotoes
1 lb lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 tsp Italian seasoning
3 clove garlic, minced
2 t salt
1 t red pepper
8 ounces cream cheese
1 C mozarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

In a skillet, brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic until cooked through; drain fat and stir in tomato sauce and spices.  Bring to a boil and let simmer while you cook pasta (and get garlic bread ready!).

Meanwhle, cook pasta according to directions on packet.  Drain and place cooked spaghetti in bowl.  Add cream cheese and stir until cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is thoroughly coated.

Lightly grease a 9x13" pan.  Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the dish.  Put spaghetti on top of sauce and top with remaining meat sauce.  Sprinkle mozarella cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly

Garlic Parmesan Skillet Bread
1 can biscuits - I used Grand Jr's
1/2 stick butter
2 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350.  Melt butter and mix in garlic and Italian seasoning.  Tear biscuits into quarters and toss in butter mixture.  Place in baking dish and top with cheese.  Bake at 350' for 20 minutes.
*I put them in the oven with the spaghetti after giving the spag 10 mins by itself.

Mooo-ve it on over

Hi My Crafty Friends!!  :)
I used my Bugaboo cowboy and Create a Critter to make this card.  I love it!!!  I just drew the cow spots on my card and on the digi.  FUN! :)  Not sure who will get this card yet - I love it.  Reminds me of college when my bestie and I would try to walk fast to class and we'd have to keep passing people.  We called cattle and we'd say "Moooove it on over" to eachother and crack up.  :)  Ah, good times!

Hope you have a good time today!

Foodie Friday - Cobbler!! YES, please!!!

Time for Foodie Friday again!!!  :)  I love this day, because cooking is something that I have to do regardless if I have time to do it unlike my scrappy hobby.  Although, for my sanity, I have to make time for that as well.  But it's nice to have another outlet to let out some creativity that I 'have' to do (almost) every day of the week.
This recipe is really easy and really good!!!
My family loves it!!  AND I've even made it with a whole stick of butter because  I was remembering cup, cup, cup, stick...oh well, it still came out delish even though it didn't rise much.  LOL!

Fruit Cobbler
1 C flour
1 C Sugar
1 C milk
½ stick melted butter
Mix batter and put in buttered baking dish – round PC one
Sprinkle berries (thawed or fresh) over the dough
Sprinkle with ¼ C sugar and some cinnamon if you wish
1 hour at 350’

Howdy!!

Howdy!  I love me some cowboys so when I saw the Country Fair Cricut cartridge I knew I HAD to have it!  I like how this card turned out.  We are hoping to meet up with some friends during spring break this year and I am going to send this card to them so they'll know our plans and hopefully we can work something out!  :)  I also used Bugaboo - (LOOOVE them too!) that is where I got the cutie cowboy.  More designs will be posted soon!  :)

Enjoy your day!

Boys and Bugs

YAY!!  I really like this cartridge...Nate's ABC's.  It has a lot of really cute images - some are quite delicate but the designs are precious!  I have to admit that I was a bit intimidated because the images seem to have a lot of layers. That scares me sometmes because I don't feel like i am the best color matcher. I am glad i did it though - it wasn't hard at all.

I think I'm going to send this to my aunt...I know she'll like it.

Foodie Friday - Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread

Run to Plain Chicken if you haven't been to her blog before!!!  You will NOT be disappointed!  http://www.plainchicken.com/

I found this recipe there and LOOOVE IT!!!

Cinnamon Roll Pulls1 unsliced round loaf sourdough bread

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 Tbsp milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

To make Vanilla Honey Butter: Whip butter and 1/4 cup powdered sugar together until smooth; stir in honey and vanilla.  Set aside. (You can use regular butter if desired)

Cut the bread lengthwise into 1/2" slices, without cutting through the bottom crust. Spread vanilla honey butter in between slices.  Rotate the bread 90 degrees and slice the bread again into 1/2" pieces, without cutting through the bottom crust. Spread more vanilla honey butter in between new cuts. This doesn't need to be perfect - just make sure there is lots of butter in between all the cuts. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Generously sprinkle in between all cuts. (You may have extra butter and cinnamon sugar.  It will just depend on how large your bread loaf is.)

Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until bread is warm.  Unwrap cinnamon bread and place on serving platter.  Combine powdered sugar and milk - adding milk until you get the consistency desired.  Drizzle icing over bread and serve immediately.

Introducing Princess BUTTERCUP!! :)

Puppy LOVE!!!
OMG!!!
I need to introduce you to my sweet baby puppy Buttercup.
She is 31/2 months old and is only 1.9 pounds!!!  She's a tiny chihuahua and she won my heart at the pet shop.  I've never purchased a pet that way and boy was she pricey, but I couldn't put her down.  I had to take her home!!!  My other chihuahua, Tinkerbelle, thinks she's okay and is adjusting to her; my Golden, Zander, really likes her!
She's been with us for a couple of weeks now and she is smart, playful, fun, and all around a perfect puppy!!!
We all love her!

My DD holding her at the pet shop...we were sunk - it was love at first sight!

What a sweet, sleepy puppy!

Tink not as excited to play as Butter is

Oh, NO, Butter!!  Don't drink mama's coffee!

This cracks me up.  Zander is such a good boy, let's her lay on top of him.

That's all I got....FOR NOW!!  I'm sure lots more pics and projects will be forthcoming!
Ejoy!

Catch you later... :)

This sentiment always reminds me of my BF's brother.  He says that everytime before he hangs up the telephone.  So when I picked up this cartridge and saw this I had to make a card for him.  This was really easy to put together.  I don't scrap and blog in the same room so I can't remember what cartridge it is, but I've had it for a while, just never realized this cut was on it.  I like the cartridge though, it was easy to use and put together!   I was able to use scraps too - win/win!

Boring inside.  :)  Who cares!?!  I know he won't!

Tammy
