Bubble Bath Time!

Hi my crafty friends!!! :)  I used this digi from Bugaboo and I love it.  I made a few variations, so I will show you all of them.  I used puffy paint for the bubbles....how cute is that!?!?  :)
I especially love this image because that is exactly how I see myself when I take a bath.  I'm sure I'm not that cute, but in my head I am the bubbly bubbles are so plentiful, and I have my cosmo right there next to me!  I just need a muscular yet gentle Italian massuese (sp?!) to massage me! :)  Tee hee!!!  :)

Enjoy today...maybe a bubbly bath for you???  :)

Worm at the bottom...

Hi to my crafy friends!!!  I posted these cuppies last month for a Foodie Friday, but my daughter told me that I needed to blog about the cute worms we made to accessorize the glasses.  I used my Copics, SU! markers and Triarts (LOOOOVE my markers!)  Colored these digi's from KennyK and then got to use my laminater!!! :)  Kaity helped with that part.  We laminated, cut them out, and then taped a popicle stick to the back.  We, of course, asked everyone to not throw them out (the nerve!?!) becasue we did work hard on them and can re-use them!  :)  They turned out pretty cute.

Enjoy your day!

Happy Birthday to...

Hi my crafty friends!!!!
I made a couple b-day cards with no one in particular in mind.  I'm sure we all enjoy having cards ready and I guess that is what these will be for.  :)

What card is your 'go to' card - I guess for me I mostly make 'all-occasion' cards and will often even wait to add a sentiment until I know who I'll be sending it to.

I'm also kinda a hoarder and when I have a card that I really like and didn't have someone in mind when I made it, I find that I sometimes have a hard time giving it away.  Weird?!?!

Enjoy today!!

Pretty in Pink

HI to my crafty friends!!! Yes, you saw this image a bit ago.... I just changed a few things.  Including the size.  This is much larger and is on a 6"x6" card.  I don't usually make them this big, but wanted to give it a try.  I like how it turned out and I like the ribbon/ball things I used!  That's from SU and I just got it not long ago so I'm sure it is still available.  Fun!!!

Enjoy your day!

Butterfly - You DID it!!

Hi my friends!!!! :)
I'm not sure where I got this image, but I love it!!  Like Butterfly Heart love it!!!  It is just so cute and you could color it bold or pastel or however!!! :)  FUN!  This one I cut out the butterfly and then sponged the background and then put the butterfly on top.  I know that technique has a name...masking maybe?  Whatever it is, I like it!  I don't do it much cause I hate cuting with such detail but this image wasn't so bad.

Dreaming...

I interrupt this blog to tell you how much fun my kids and I had over the past weekend laying in the grass and making shapes out of the clouds!  It was wonderful.  AND one of the things on my 2011 things to do.  Bonus!  :) But it was a lot of fun.  This image from Mo's... I KNOW...my addiction is not letting go of it's hold.  But look at it....  how can you NOT love it???  It's begging to be colored!!!  LOL!  :)
I do love me some Mo's.  I wonder if she knows that I stalk her almost daily???  :)  Oh well, it is what it is.

Enjoy a nice, relaxing, summer day!!! :)

Foodie Friday, more cheesecake cuppies! :)

Happy FOODIE FRIDAY!!!  :)
Okay, you saw a similar post last week but I actually made these again....folllowing her recipe closer.  :)  These are DELISH too!!  My BF likes them better than the first, but I still lean toward the first ones, although it's close.  THese are really good too!
I originally got the recipe from one of my fave blogs.  Confessions of a Cookbook Queen.

She has an AWESOME blog and you HAVE to check that out too!!!

Here is my addaption to the recipe but much closer to her original post.

Confetti Cheesecake Cupcakes with Cake Batter Cream Cheese Frosting
INGREDIENTS
white cake batter - that means make it according to the directions

Filling
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baker's mystery flavor .  you could use plain ol' vanilla if you don't want to mess with this)

Preheat oven to 350 and line 24 muffin tins with liners.

Make cake according to pkg directions and fill liners about 1/2 way with the batter.

Mix filling ingredients until smooth and put a dollop in each liner.  Bake for about 17 minutes or until set.

Cake Batter Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 stick salted butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baker's mystery flavor (you could omit this, or use vanilla, but again, I really like this!)
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup white cake mix (MIX--NOT BATTER)

In the bowl of a mixer, beat butter, cream cheese and extract(s) on medium speed until smooth. Add powdered sugar and cake mix and beat on low until just combined. Increase speed to medium-high and beat for 2 minutes. If frosting is too thick, mix in a bit of heavy cream or milk until desired consistency is reached.

Frost cuppies once they are cooled!

These had a nice cheesecake filling, imagine that! :)  YUMMO!  Makes enough to share, but who wants to???  :)

Enjoy!

Oh, and she says to ADD SPRINKLES for God's Sake!!  :)  So I did...this time.  ;)

Bee-uty

Okay, I feel like I cheated on this card because I didn't stamp, color, use my cricut or anything!!!  I used STICKERS!!!  Remember those!?!  Well, they aren't just for scrapbooking anymore!  I need to get on with making some layouts and I need to branch out and tell myself that it is a-ok to use stamsp and images in my scrapbooks and it is okay to use stickers on my cards!!!  That is a totally new and unexplored concept for me and I am starting small.  I think this turned out pretty cute.  It's not one of my faves, but it's cute and I'll use it.  Just exploring and trying to get out of my boxed idea.

Have a great day!

Birthday Girl

Hi all...
I think you all know my love for Mo's and I think that I am addicted.  I really may need a 12 step program.  I am collecting cards more than I am sending them.  Ugh....I really need to start sending them out.  Anyone else do that?  Everyone!?!  Oh, good!  :)
That's it, just feed my addiction.  It's all good!  :)
Anyway, I love this image from Mo's.  Isnt' that little dog the cutest?  I made another version that I will share soon, and you will see they are very similar.  I made the girls both all decked out in pink because that is my fave color.  But I made the other dog black.  Because that is the color of my princess pup!  :)  I like that the cake has a ? candle.  Makes me feel like it can be used for any age - young and not so young!  :)

May all of your wishes come true,
Tammy
