WAHOO!!!!  Take a box of Angel Food cake mix and a can of pie filling.  Use what you like...I used apple.  Mix the dry ingredients with the pie filling and pour into greased 9x13 pan.  Bake for about 45 mins at 350'.  That's it.!!!  YUMMO!  :)
I can't wait to try other flavors....cherry, blueberry, i wonder if pumpkin would work??!

Carnival in town!!! :)

It's a carnival!!!!  WOW!!  This was so much fun to make!  I used to get the template and my cricut to cut out the pieces.  I think it turned out adorably!   I love it!  I need to schedule a party so I can use these...I"m picturing hotdogs and cotton candy and funnel cakes....FUN!!   I will post more about that when I actually follow through with my idea.  The ferris wheel took about 6 hours to make so it is VERY detailed but it really did turn out cute. THere are lots of pics...making it obvious that I'm proud of it.  I'm thinknig it would be cool to sometime (not this year!) make a Haunted Carnival for Halloween!!!  :)

Back to School with Grover!

Hi!!!  I LOVE Grover!!!  He has always been my Favorite Sesame Street character and I still have the loveable, furry, old stuffed toy I had from childhood.  He just makes me smile.  That is part of the  THE reason that i purchased the Sesame Street cartridge! I hadn't even used it, but i just loved knowing that I had it.  I mean my 14 and 12 year olds really wern't any it anymore.  :(
That is UNTIL!!!  Until I met a kindergarten teacher!!!!!!  YAY!!!  Kaity has a friend who's mom is teaching kindergarten this year!   Wahoo!  That meant that I could pull out this cartridge and go to town.  That's just what I did.  I started with GROVER....the star of the show and then I moved into doing all of the seasons and a name plate!  I know she liked them...she even jumped up and down.  :)  Made my day!

PS - School starts tomorrow!!  I have a High Schooler and a Junior High Schooler!!!  Ack!

Vinyl treat holder

YAY!  I love working with's so much fun to personalize stuff and to make things  even cuter than they were to start!  SA's pup is one of the sweetest doggies I know and I wanted to make her a little something.  SA and I were shopping at HL one day and I found these really cute trash cans.  They were on clearance for a little over 3 dollars...I bought two because they were so cute.  I still need to find something to do with the second one, but this one I made a treat holder for Daisy.  I think it turned out really cute and the Mikey cartridge was PERFECT for it!!!
YAY!  It's nice when things come together!

Foodie Friday - Chocolate Waffles

WOW, these are REALLY good!!!  And they are SUPER easy!!!   All you need is a box of chocolate cake mix (with ingredients to make the 'cake') and a waffle maker.  That's it!

I mixed all of the ingredients and then used my large pampered chef scoopy thing and that was the perfect amount for each waffle.  My waffle maker is old school - it was my mom's so check yours before you take my word for it.  This one makes four eggo sized waffles at a time.  Not the ginormous ones you get out.  These are just regular to smallish in size.
This is the waffle maker I have:

Here is Mike showing off his plate of delishiousness

And my son...not quite as excited, but if you can see he's scarfed them down! :)

Sunflower card

Hi y'all....I just have a cute card to show you today.  I feel like I need to get back into making and more importantly sending out cards. I have a super sweet friend at work and wanted to make her a thank you card.  As soon as I found this digi in my stash I knew it would be perfect for her!  She loves sunflowers!  I colored it with my Copics, embossed it and raised it up and made it boing with one of my boingy things.:)  I think it turned out really cute and she loved it! :)

Oh... I sometimes like to decorate the inside a bit...this is how this one looked. :)
