View Master Card

OMG...This may be one of my most favorite cards.  Thank you, Princess Cricut for helping me make the cuts....I'd made a view master card years ago and it was SUCH a pain.  With my cricky this is so much easier!!!  I started with a 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock.  I took my CM 1"circle cut and cut a hole in one side of the card.  I used my cricut to make a 1" circle and then cut a 1.25" circle around that one in black to make the ring around the viewer.  I also cut a 4" circle out of white cardstock.  I found the middle of the 4" circle and put a hole in that for the brad.  Then I put it in the card and made sure the white was covering the hole but not sticking out of the card.  I then made a hole in the card for the brad to fit through the cardstock.   I then used a smaller CM circle punch and barely put it along the edge of the card centered with the brad to make an indention in both pieces of cardstock so that you can easily rotate the viewer.   Next, you put a brad through the cardstock and 4" circle so the circle spins.  I used small stamps (my set is from 2001 - SU!) to stamp in the circle on the card.  Stamp an image then turn until you no longer see the image and stamp another.  I got 7 images on mine.  I then decorated the front of the card.!!!  Not too hard and lots of fun!!!  I included pics of each image I used.  FUN!!

Happy Friday-Eve!!!

Hi y'all!  I posted that on my FB page last week and my silly cuz commented "Ummm.....Tam......it's Thursday! LOL"  She's a nut so I replied back...."That's why I put the EVE on there, silly!  LOL!"  So I've been busy playing.  I hate this freezing, negative degree weather and it really makes me want to just stay in as much as possible.  I guess that is a good thing becasue I at least get some crafting done!!!  :)  YAY!  I do love it is a big stress release for me!  Well, crafting and alcohol.  LOL!  :)  Every girl needs her crown, I always say! 
I made this fun, easy card and want to share it with you.  My bestie is having a bit of a life struggle right now and she lives about 2.5 hours away.  BOO HOO!!  :(  So, I like to send her cards and such to let her know that I am thinking of her, have her back, support her, will help her and loves her!  She has been my bestie since I was 13 years old!!! :)  That's 16 years!!!  Wow!  (I know you are doing the math - yep I'll be the big 4-0 in March...gulp!)  Not sure how I feel about it.  She is older than me and is already forty.  Yea, I just had to throw that in.  Not necessary information, I am aware.....but I just love pointing out that she is older.  :)  LOL! 
Anyway, I got this stampset from My Favorite Things....WOW!  They have some cuuuuute stamps!  Love 'em!  My only issue is that I want them ALL!  I hate that I have that kind of personality, but I do.  Always have.  Won't settle.  Want NEED it all!  :)  Oh well, all in due time, I s'pose!  Just like all of those cricut cartridges I have to have and I still have some that I haven't even used yet!!!!  I know I should challenge myself and use everyone pronto....but who are we kidding, I know it won't happen. I just have to have them!  I will eventually use them!  I know I had a great idea in my head that the carty would be PERFECT for when I bought them!  Now I just need to get there again.  LOL! 
OH!!!!  I used the new (well, at least new to me) copic glitter pens.  WOW!  They are awesome!!  A girly girls dream!  I, of course, bought the whole set!  :)

Totally love her sass!  :)  AND I have to take a second to brag on my bestie....she is wearing a size 8 in JEANS!!!  Biatch!  So proud of her!  She's been walking and now even running!  Wahoo!  She rocks and I love her!     If I only had her inspiration....  :) 

NOW....used the same devlish girl for a card for my BF.....Mike is gonna love this!  :)  At least he'd better.  Cause I do.  And if he doesn't then I'll have to remind him that I'll find someone that will.  LOL!  :)  I'm just being sassy.  (that's part of the devil in me)  He'll love it!

Hedgie and Puppy Valentine

Hi pals!  :)
I decided to pull out some stamps this weekend so you will see a slew of posts with stamps.  How fun are they?!!  I go through phases as we all probably do and although I love my cricut, I love my stamps too!  I had fun coloring and cutting.  :) 
The first card I want to show you is one of my faves....a sweet hedgie!  I just love the little guy!  I think I'll give this card to my daughter for hearts day.  The second is a pup one from the same set.  I think I got them from CTMH.  Not positive though.  They are either SU or CTMH though. The dog one will be for my son. 
I don't do much for Valentines usually.  Couple decorations.  Candy.  Red dinner - i use food coloring on whatever I can to make it pink or red.  Fun.  That's about it.  This year I will probably do a bit more decorating with my beloved Cricut!!!
