Happy Veteran's Day!!! Thanks to all of our Veterans! This morning I was inspired to say a little prayer for our soldiers and I realized that a lot of my favorite people are veterans. They are respectable, stand-up, God-fearing people and I love them!
My house has been a little nutty lately. I have a sick dog. And I don't mean any dog....I mean a 100lb Golden Retriever. Ugh. I don't know what he ate, but it did not sit well and I was up at 3am this morning cleaning up a mess. I know it's not his fault, but OMG! I may be a little cranky this evening cause I only got 4 hours of sleep. Ugh. BUT I had fun last night as I made a night of doing some challenges. I'd never sat and done several challenges in a row, but it was fun! It made me think outside of the box for sure!
I may put up a couple of posts today to post them all.
My first challenge project has two inspirations and if you aren't a follower of them, you should consider it! You would not be disappointed.
Thansks to Sammye Jo for the banner idea (I'm an addict now!!) http://62cards.blogspot.com/
and Thanks to Joy for her Give Thanks banner that I pretty much scraplifted.... :) (Love you, Joy!)

Also I think I should thank Emma. She was also the inspiration for me to start a blog and has been quite helpful along the way. It's so nice to 'meet' such nice people her in the land of blog! She was also my very first follower!! http://www.creativetimeforme.com/
The challenges I am posting this up for are:
http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ Challenge is to use embossing
http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ Challenge is to do some Holiday (Letter H)
I may try to find a couple more to enter...seems I had another in mind, but I can't find it. Grrr...hate it when that happens! :)
I used the storybook carty to cut out the letters and thanks to the help of my Gypsy I used different cartys on the same paget to cut this out. I love the leaves and I used gold paper and embossed them. I have this in my family room hanging on the fireplace. I think I may do this for every holiday! Well, I guess not Christmas cause that's where the stockings go! :) Anyway, I hope you like it!
Sorry this last picture is blurry.
Thanks for looking!
